With the rugged mountains, dynamic glaciers, temperate rain falls, Glacier National park is the best for wildlife photography. I hope to be able to produce at least 24 paintings in 24 hours and all of the originals produced during the 24 hours will be given to the highest donators who have donated more than £30, with the most generous donator getting first choice and so on. My theme for the event is African wildlife and as many of you know, I do love to paint big cats, so there will be some big cats in the originals produced on the day. You can follow me live as I complete my paintathon challenge as I will be doing live video feeds via facebook and Instagram throughout the 24 hours and posting regularly on both with updates on my progress Facebook @Vanessa.Grundy.Artist Instagram @vlgstudios. And of course, you can follow my progress and find out more on here. See more info at Wildlife Art Prints.

Environmentally friendly products! Prior to the production of my first item this year, my conservation charity notebooks (pictured above), I did a vast amount of research to find suppliers that are themselves eco-conscious, and that allow me to fully commit to the change into environmentally friendly products in order to leave a smaller footprint on the planet. I myself will also be sending out products launched from 2020 onwards only in recyclable packaging that is 100% free from plastic, using plastic free tape that is biodegradable, recyclable, and compostable!

2015 – Teenage Entrepreneur Market, Stoke: I took the opportunity to take a sizeable stand at a busy shopping location in Stoke-on-Trent, where I exhibited and offered for sale many of my original pieces and prints. 2012 – Williamson Art Gallery Spring Exhibition: For this competition, I entered a piece that I had completed whilst at school. Inspired by the artwork of Jason Morgan, I used acrylic paints to depict the majesty of a silver back gorilla. Discover even more details at www.vlgstudios.com.
