Transformative coaching benefits
Personal development with transformative coaching guides… Transformational coaching includes crafting an action plan that can help bring your thoughts into reality. Like a caterpillar building its cocoon, you too can start to construct your transformation, even if you don’t entirely know where you’ll end up or what color your wings will be. Your coach will encourage you to move beyond the need for promises and embrace the uncertainty that makes the process worthwhile.
Clients create their own reality through their beliefs, interpretations and the actions taken. This idea goes beyond standard ways of thinking about reality, yet this is a principle of coaching that is extremely valuable. Without it, clients would not practice being accountable for their lives, for their well-being or their happiness. A client like “Poor Joe” would only see himself at the mercy of his circumstances and most likely would avoid and resist looking at himself as the creation of his own reality. “Poor Joe” would not be a good candidate for coaching. There are models of coaching which are very pragmatic, based solely on actions and results, leaving the essential being behind. The results of this form of coaching generally are not transformative and the results will fade over time. Creating a container that acknowledges the transpersonal wisdom of each client provides a more expansive and yet safer environment for him to discover and reveal his true nature and his true ability to create the life that is desired.
It’s a tall order and requires immense self-awareness and presence on behalf of the transformational coach, combined with a skilled and experienced hand. It takes courage to challenge the status quo on behalf of a client and to stay present in uncomfortable moments even knowing this is where the greatest change can occur. It’s about more than a thought process, but a way of being with the client. This is why it is essential that training specifically focused on transformational coaching is imperative for those seeking to become a transformational coach, or to work on a more profound level with clients. Studies show that a higher level of engagement during training activities results in greater retention and recall of knowledge on the part of the learner. And interactivity strategies such as the use of multimedia elements, real-world scenarios, and even basic achievement levels and badges can help to transform the most mundane training modules into engaging, thought-provoking and memorable learning experiences.
Businesses become global, telephone conferences, video calls, and online meetings among people who live in different parts of the world are often necessary, and thus more and more different aspects of communication need to be developed. The importance of employees being able to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with their colleagues, clients, and customers goes without saying. However, traditional corporate training cannot really cover the development of all communication skills that your workforce needs. Blended learning for corporate training will allow to you to help your employees develop their virtual communication skills, as you can follow a social learning approach, by which your staff can connect, interact, and share ideas with each other in a virtual environment, so they can effectively learn how to function and communicate both in the real and the virtual world.
